EnglishOn June 1, an aerial view of the fish-solar complementary photovoltaic power station in Shaokou Township, Wan'an County presents a spectacular scene of numerous monocrystalline silicon PV panels glinting in the sunset, forming a new picture of green development alongside the green mountains and clear waters.
In recent years, Wan'an County has vigorously developed green and clean energy, fully utilizing reservoirs and barren beaches while combining water-based power generation with underwater three-dimensional aquaculture.The county has introduced China Three Gorges New Energy Corporation to build a 100-megawatt fish-solar complementary PV power station, which can save 33,000 tons of standard coal each year.
This initiative contributes to the goals of “carbon peaking and carbon neutrality” and injects green development momentum into rural revitalization.
