EnglishIn accordance with the evaluation criteria of the Measures for the Evaluation of Typical Smart Engineering Cases for Power Construction, and after a rigorous review process including formal examination, on-site defense, expert panel evaluation and public announcement, the reservoir photovoltaic project jointly developed byChina Energy Shandong Electric Power Co., Ltd. Liaocheng Power Generation Branch,Shandong Electric Power Engineering Consulting Institute Co., Ltd.and NorthMan Energy Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd.has been honored as a Three-Star Typical Smart Engineering Case for Power Construction 2023.

Located in Tangyi Town, Dongchangfu District, Liaocheng City, Shandong Province, the project is ingeniously built on the industrial water pond for self-use of the power plant, making it the largest floating photovoltaic project on water under China Energy Group to date.It covers an area of about 2,983,348 square meters (4,475 mu), with nearly 380,000 PV modules, featuring a grand scale and advanced technologies.
Upon commissioning, the project will supply 220 million kWh of green electricity annually.It will effectively save about 69,000 tons of standard coal and significantly reduce various pollutant emissions:
Sulfur dioxide emissions reduced by about 42.2 tons
Nitrogen oxide emissions reduced by about 44 tons
Carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gas emissions reduced by about 189,000 tons
Smoke and dust emissions reduced by about 8.5 tons
This achievement is of great significance for promoting the development of green energy and achieving carbon emission reduction targets.
This honor not only recognizes the project's technical level and innovative achievements, but also sets a new benchmark for smart engineering in China's power construction sector.Going forward, China Energy Liaocheng Power Generation Co., Ltd., Shandong Electric Power Engineering Consulting Institute Co., Ltd. and NorthMan Energy Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd. will continue to deepen cooperation to jointly promote the wide application and development of smart engineering in power construction.
